Final Countdown / Compte enrere

Dear families,

That is over. Today it is the last day we walk along Scarborough streets. We have woken up later than usual today because the visit to the castle wasn’t due to mid morning. It is a special day though; for lunch we are meeting to enjoy some fish and chips and we’ll have some free time for shopping in the afternoon as well.

Most probably you won’t read from us or see any more pictures until we are back because tomorrow there will not be much time for internet connection. We’ll leave our houses at “eightish” and lead to Newcastle airport and then to Barcelona. The expected arrival time in Barcelona is 17.30 local time. We haven’t been reported any delays so far, so everything is as scheduled.

Although we are having a great time, some of us are already missing you very much and look forward to meeting you at the airport.

Hola families!

Això s’acaba. Avui és l’últim dia que passegem pels carrers d’Scarborough. Ens hem llevat més tard que de costum perquè la visita al castell no està prevista fins a mig matí. És un dia especial, però; a migdia, hem quedat per dinar el típic “Fish and chips” i tindrem una mica de temps lliure per anar de compres a la tarda també.

Segurament no escriurem més noticies ni penjarem fotografies fins que tornem ja que demà no tindrem massa temps per conectar-nos. Sortirem de les cases als voltants de les vuit i enfilarem el camí de l’aeroport de Newcastle, després cap a Barcelona. L’hora prevista d’arribada és 17.30 hora local. De moment no hi ha retards previstos, així que tot va segons el previst.

Tot i que ens ho passem molt bé, alguns ja us trobem a faltar i tenim ganes de veure-us a l’aeroport.
